Hi, I’m Chris Wilms. I’m one of the attorneys at Hopler, Wilms, & Hanna. I’m pleased to talk to you today about an event coming up called Prepare, Don’t Predict. It’s at an awesome location called Spaceworks in Cary. It’s on January 29th at 5:30 PM so get a babysitter. We’re going to have awesome speakers there. I’m going to be one of the speakers there. I’m going to be speaking about the fundamentals of estate planning. What are the key tools that every person needs to effectuate a really good estate plan to plan for things like incapacity or the eventuality of passing away one day. We’re also going to have Douglas McClellan there. He’s going to be talking about a market updates or things that are going on in the stock market, things that are expected to happen in the stock market, so you don’t want to miss out on that.
We’re also going to have Joel Oliver there. He’s actually hosting the event. He’s a financial advisor with Edward Jones, a great financial advisor, so I would highly recommend that you come see him, particularly if you have questions about financial advising. Dinner will be served, so you’re not going to be hungry. There may be a taco bar involved and there’s going to be a raffle at the end, so you don’t want to miss out on that.
There is only limited space, the space doesn’t accommodate that many people. So we’ve got space limited to 30 people, so you want to RSVP right away. We have an Eventbrite link below that you can use to sign up and tell us how many people are coming. And if you can’t make that event, just reach out to me. If you reach out to me and say, “I can’t attend this event, but I want to do future events.” We’ll add you to the list. We’ll send you an email whenever we have future events coming up. I think we’ll probably have these occasionally.
