Eva is an attorney with Hopler, Wilms & Hanna, where she focuses her practice on estate litigation, probate disputes, guardianship matters, and related civil litigation. She is licensed to practice law in both North Carolina and South Carolina, and brings a thoughtful, advocacy-driven approach to every matter she handles.

Eva works closely with clients to navigate challenging legal disputes with clarity and confidence, helping individuals and families understand their options and make informed decisions at every stage. She is committed to guiding clients through complex estate and fiduciary matters with attentive communication and strategic problem-solving skills.

Before joining the firm, Eva served as a Public Defender in South Carolina, where she developed strong litigation skills, courtroom experience, and a deep commitment to zealous client advocacy. That experience continues to inform her practice, bringing a grounded perspective and disciplined approach to contested civil matters.

Eva earned her Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law and graduated magna cum laude from the University of Mary Washington, where she double-majored in Political Science and Psychology. Originally from Long Island, New York, Eva has put down roots in North Carolina, where she is proud to serve clients throughout the region and enjoys applying her broad background to serve her clients effectively.

Outside the office, Eva enjoys traveling and has explored many parts of the world. She also shares her home with her two cats, Hiccup and Storm, who ensure that there is never a dull moment outside of work.
